Founded in 2006, TLCC is an award-winning non-profit social organization dedicated to promoting Tamil language, culture, education, fine arts, sports and community wellbeing in Crawley. We bring generations together through learning, volunteering and shared cultural experiences.
Building a Stronger Community Through Language, Culture and Service
Founded in 2006, Tamil Learning Centre Crawley (TLCC) is a non-profit social organization dedicated to serving Crawley’s Tamil community and the wider local area. We create opportunities for people of all ages to learn, participate, connect and contribute.
Our work promotes Tamil language, culture, arts, literature, dance, drama and sport, alongside environmental awareness, social development and community harmony. We also support people affected by hardship and encourage volunteering as a meaningful way to make a difference.
Our contribution was recognized with a regional Cultural Award in 2023 and The King’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2024—one of the UK’s highest honors for voluntary groups.
Through our Tamil School, Youth Organization, Women’s Organization, Senior Citizens’ Organization and Sports Organization, we bring generations together and help our community thrive.
